Melodee
Terry
Tumblers Director
Melodee started taking
gymnastics when her stepmother brought Melodee with her to the YMCA; where
she taught gymnastics. From then on she was hooked. She continued doing
gymnastics off and on from the time she was 5, until she was a teenager.
Melodee is currently the program director for the Tiny Tumbler program.
She works hard to make sure that each week the preschoolers have a fun and
exciting experience. Melodee started teaching at Encore
in mid 2002, where she teaches preschool classes, rec. classes, Tramp and
Tumble, Birthday Parties, and wherever else she is needed. When asked what
her favorite thing about teaching gymnastics is, she responded, “I
love to see the kids succeed; especially when I know I’ve played a
part in their learning. It makes me feel good about myself. I also love
teaching at Encore because when I come to work I get to
play.” Melodee’s other interests include drawing and singing.
